One hundred years after falling asleep, Princess Aurora wakes up to the kiss of a handsome prince and a broken kingdom that has been dreaming of her return. All the books say that she should be living happily ever after. But as Aurora understands all too well, the truth is nothing like the fairy tale.
Her family is long dead. Her “true love” is a kind stranger. And her whole life has been planned out by political foes while she slept.
As Aurora struggles to make sense of her new world, she begins to fear that the curse has left its mark on her, a fiery and dangerous thing that might be as wicked as the witch who once ensnared her. With her wedding day drawing near, Aurora must make the ultimate decision on how to save her kingdom: marry the prince or run.
GUYS GUYS GUYS DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT MY FEELS ARE. I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS BOOK SINCE MARCH LAST YEAR. MARCH. THAT’S 10 MONTHS. I HAVE BEEN WAITING TEN MONTHS FOR THIS. And soon to be 11 months until I get my hardback copy. SO MANY FEEEEEELS. I ADORE retellings and there are few, surprisingly, about Sleeping Beauty. This one sounds absolutely amazing and I just can’t. And it sounds like it has political intrigue and definitely magic and those two things makes my bookish heart soar guys. IT RELEASES SO SOON BUT SO FAR EEPS
I LOVE RETELLINGS! And I”ve been hearing so many amazing things about this book! The cover is pretty too

Teehee. I didn’t really like this one. I mean, I think I gave it 2.5 stars (rounded to 3). If there is a sequel(s), then I might read it/them… but this one didn’t really impress me, unfortunately. I hope you enjoy this book when you read it!
Have a fabulous week, Nikki
Check out my WoW post!

Waiting since last March? I would not be able to do it. I hope the wait will be absolutely worth it. I commented on a different post of yours asking a question, but I don’t know if you got it so hopefully you’ll see this one… Where do you create your AMAZING headers and banners? My co-blogger and I want to find somewhere nice, we keep going back and forth from different places and I absolutely fell in love with yours
Have a good day.

I am super excited for this one too! I heard from other bloggers that is has a more sinister/serious feel of sleeping beauty and that sounds right up my alley!
