bookish

So umm school. School sucks. I had 3 B averages (now only 2) and I am just DYING. High school sucks so far. I have yet to make new friends but since I have at least 2 in each class (And in one of my classes only like 7 kids AREN’T from my middle school) I think I’m set for the year LOL. I haven’t read a ton in the past couple of weeks so I’m just ughhhhhhhhhh. BUTTTTTTTTTTTTT I just finished I’LL GIVE YOU THE SUN and holyholy crap.

I’m seriously considering shutting down the blog for school. Maybe a coblogger but honestly? I don’t really want one. Is that bad of me???

I’m also volunteering at the library whoo! And a ton of other places lol.

Yesterday I went to my old middle school because they have this annual band bash where there are kiddy games (yeah we don’t play those lol) and sell snow cones and cotton candy (the only legit reason I went.) Also my friends were volunteers so I got free food. AKA I grabbed some and they looked the other way LOL. I ate so much cotton candy I can’t even.

I have a new obsessive love for ginger candy.

That’s about it?

HOW WERE Y’ALL?

Awesome selection. I haven’t gotten I’LL GIVE YOU THE SUN yet. I hear a lot of good things about it. Have to remember to pick it up for sure. I did pick up Jackaby by William Ritter. Octavia from
@ReadSleepRepeat, was raving about it. So I had to buy it. :) Trial By Fire by Josephine Angelini was awesome, I loved the world building and the plot. It grabbed me from the beginning. It’s a good start to the series, can’t wait for the next one. Hope you enjoy it.
Having a co-blogger isn’t bad. I understand you not wanting one. You worked hard to be where you are with your blog and sharing just isn’t your thing. Totally understandable. But at least think about it, it may be good for you. You’ll have more time to study/socialize with your new friends. Also, your blog would stay up to date.
    Have a great day xo

  2. I think you should take a break if you need to so you can focus on school – if you don’t want a co-blogger, it might be worthwhile lining up guest posts or scheduled posts so that you don’t need to keep up with posting?

Anyway that is a truly epic pile Nikki! I hope you decide what you need to do :)

  3. I’m a little nervous to read Falling into Place too. I haven’t really been in the mood to read it and I’ve been hearing mixed things as well. I haven’t started the White Rabbit Chronicles series yet (sadly), but I do own the second book!

Don’t worry about not wanting a coblogger. I don’t think I’d ever want one for my blog. Hopefully school gets better for you! A lot better.

  4. I’m sorry to hear you don’t feel so fantastic :( If you don’t want a co-blogger, you shouldn’t get one. It’s your blog and you should take decisions that feel good for you.

The queen of the Tearling was good. I really liked it. There are some flaws, but I could easily overlook them. HEIR OF FIRE. SO MANY FEELINGS.

Falling Into Place has so much buzz around it, and I really want to read it now! I loved Maid of Secrets, so I hope you like Maid of Deception. I read the first chapter, and it’s great. TRIAL BY FIRE LOOKS SO EPIC and whoa, was I”l Give You The Sun good? I am seriously considering buying it, but who knows?
